An oasis of calm and relaxation at the core of the Clerkenwell Design Week – This installation by LA ERRERIA with materials from Tile of Spain companies seeks to subvert the image of the English gardens as private places for aristocrats, à la The importance of being Ernest, and instead present them as public spaces to rest.
Spanish ceramic tiles are the protagonists in this installation, playing with different colors, finishes and textures to create totems, tables, chairs and miniatures that vertebrate the garden, lending their volumes and surfaces to the enjoyment of the visitors. This modern take on the English garden will provide a welcome pause for resting, observing and enjoying the Tile of Spain.
